Improving Accuracy in BeatSaber

So some people might wonder, well, in order to get better at accuracy, why would you not just do harder songs when you could just do, you know, some easier songs that are just slower in nature?

Well, the one little thing about that is it could work to be fair, but with the easier songs, yeah, they're slow, but they also don't have much content, so you don't actually have that many blocks. However, if you slow down a harder song, so even actually, a song on literally the difficulty Hard. It would probably, in my opinion, be better for progression if you slow down a Hard song than if you speed up or just did a really challenging Normal song, just because there's more content. So your brain is looking for more to hit and whatnot.

There's also another thing. When you are trying to level up more, say, if you want to progress from the Hard difficulty to, you know, Expert and eventually Expert+, the one big thing that is important is getting really fast. Now, a lot of people in the real world would probably say that you want to be slow, that you want to get good, then you want to get fast. However, there is one definite thing about getting good at the game, but then you don't have to have the most perfect accuracy to get to Expert+.

I know for a fact that I do not have the world's most perfect accuracy at all, by any means. I am working on it, but that's another thing. If you want to get into the later levels, I would definitely suggest just trying. Definitely tackle things that are at your level for sure, but do try to get faster when you can, because one thing that I have noticed after playing this game for a concerningly long amount of time is, the faster you get, the more your brain can handle, and then the better you get and the more accurate you get, because you could stay behind if you wanted to, so say if you are at the Normal difficulty or Hard. You can stay there for a while and get really, really good accuracy, but then you are not unfortunately going to be realistically able to get even into Expert and Expert+ just because you have great accuracy. Your brain simply can't handle all the blocks being thrown at you.

However, if you get really, really quick, that will allow you to move on. Of course, eventually that will also help you go back and then perfect your accuracy just because your brain is so used to it at that point. Then, a previously really fast song in say, Hard difficulty if you're in Expert will feel a heck of a lot slower after a month of consistently doing Expert+. Hopefully that makes sense.
